I have sailed the Navigator, the Mariner, the Splendor, and the Grandeur, and I have multiple reservations already confirmed on the brand new Prestige, launching in December 2026. Every one of those bookings was made and paid for the way my clients pay for theirs. Not a hosted trip. Not an industry rate.

I have been sailing with Regent since 2012, beginning with a cruise to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. The suite categories matter more on Regent than on almost any other line I work with, and this is where I actually earn my keep. I know the difference between a veranda suite and a penthouse suite because I have slept in both. I know which ships have the better layout for a couple who wants two separate living spaces, and which itineraries make the upgrade worth every additional dollar. I will tell you honestly when a higher category is not worth it for the way you actually travel, because that honesty is worth more to you than a bigger commission is to me.

The moment a Regent booking is confirmed, I am already booking the specialty dining and the spa treatments and locking in shore excursions, even if that window opens at eight o'clock on a Friday night my time. The best times fill first, and on longer voyages this is the single detail that separates a good trip from a trip you talk about for years.

In 2027, Bob and I are sailing Regent again, this time to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. There was no other cruise line we even considered for a milestone like that one.
